Since gaining independence, Kazakhstan has done a lot of work to reform the agro-industrial complex. Thanks to the support of the Elbasy and the Head of State, a number of major targeted programs aimed at the revival and development of the village have been implemented, which have yielded positive results. Over the years, government support for the industry has been significantly increased, as well as the mechanisms for their implementation have been improved.
At the same time, to date, in the field of the agro-industrial complex, the issues of developing a regulatory legal act regulating the activities of wholesale distribution centers (ORCS) remain unresolved; target areas of lending need to be worked out, which need to be focused on the primary needs of agribusiness entities; there is a technical and technological lag in the industry, weak integration between science and production, requiring additional study and further measures for their development.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problematic issues, as well as to develop conceptual approaches to improving legislation in the field of agro-industrial complex, the Institute of Parliamentarism signed a Memorandum of mutual cooperation with the «Kazakh National Agrarian Research University» NJSC.
According to the Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in monitoring the development of the agro-industrial complex, participate in joint scientific and practical conferences, round tables, following which joint draft laws aimed at improving the state of the agro-industrial complex as a whole will be developed.
