One of the key tasks of the Institute of Parliamentarism is to involve experts, scientists, representatives of business and industry associations in the development and discussion of laws. The Institute of Parliamentarism should become a "bridge" between experts and the parliamentary corps.
In this way the Institute realizes the instructions given by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the second session of the National Kurultai «Әdiletti Kazakhstan - Adal Azamat» about the need to ensure quality expert-analytical support of state policy and mandatory consideration of public sentiments, wishes and suggestions of citizens in the decision-making process.
For this purpose, the Institute has established two advisory and consultative bodies - the Expert Council, which includes representatives of the professional legal community, and the Expert Pool, which includes industry experts. The purpose of both structures is to improve legislation and participate in the discussion and development of draft laws.
