The Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan have agreed on cooperation in the field of training highly qualified legal personnel, implementing mechanisms for protecting constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, promoting the principles of modern constitutionalism, improving the legal culture of citizens and strengthening the regime of constitutional legality.
The corresponding Memorandum was signed by Kanatbek Safinov, Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, and Zere Utebayeva, Head of the Staff of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum was attended by Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova and Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakyt Nurmukhanov.
Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova and Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism Kanatbek Safinov discussed such areas of joint work as holding joint conferences, seminars, round tables, other scientific events; participation in improving legislation, including the implementation of regulatory decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan; participation in meetings of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of constitutional proceedings; the opportunity to participate in meetings of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as experts, participate in meetings of working groups of the Parliament on the implementation of normative resolutions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, exchange analytical materials and proposals for the draft annual message on the state of constitutional legality in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was also attended by Executive directors Dauren Adilbekov, Almas Kanatov and Zhanar Tulindinova from the Institute of Parliamentarism. The memorandum was signed for a period of five years and assumes automatic prolongation.
