On August 26, 2021, an international round table on the topic "The President is a symbol and guarantor of the inviolability of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held in the Constitution Hall of the National Academic Library, organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at which the director of the Institute of Parliamentarism M. M. Makhambetov spoke.
The round table was attended by a member of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan V.A. Malinovsky, director of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Z.K. Shaukenov, heads and leading experts of scientific and analytical structures and universities of the country, as well as foreign experts in the online format.
The participants of the round table discussed topical issues of constitutional construction in Kazakhstan, the contribution of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, the ideological inspirer and author of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan in creating a solid legal basis for our state, the leading role of the President of the country K.K. Tokayev as the guarantor of the inviolability of the Basic Law of the country.
Within the framework of the event, a presentation of the book
“Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev. Selected Works of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ", prepared for publication by the Research Institute of International and Regional Cooperation of the Kazakh-German University.
The organizers and participants of the round table are convinced of the need to work to clarify among the population the essence of the reform policy of President K.K. Tokayev, aimed at uniting the progressive forces of society, all citizens of our country.
