On September 13, 2021, the Institute of Parliamentarism held an online meeting of the working group to consider the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on military-patriotic education" with the participation of deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Smyshlyaeva and Y.Kuchinskaya, representatives of interested state bodies and non-governmental organizations.
During the work, amendments were discussed providing for amendments and additions to the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On state social orders, grants and awards for non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan", "On mass media", "On Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "On Education", "On Television and Radio Broadcasting", "On state youth policy", "On Cinematography", "On military service and the status of military personnel".
The proposed amendments contribute to the development of patriotic education of young people in the Republic of Kazakhstan – the formation of a sense of loyalty and love for their country, the desire to serve its interests and readiness to protect it, involvement in its fate, responsibility for its condition and development.
