On June 23, 2021 Director of the Institute for Parliamentarism M. Makhambetov took part in the international scientific and practical online conference “Academician S.Z. Zimanov - scientist, teacher, statesman and public figure", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the state and public figure, academician S.Z. Zimanov and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Karaganda State University named after academician E.A. Buketov.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev at the first meeting of the State Commission on preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan stressed that the events for the 30th anniversary of Independence should give a spiritual impetus to the entire people. At the same time, work in the field of spirituality should include several areas, one of the most important among them will be the popularization of the heritage of outstanding personalities who have left an indelible mark on the history of the nation.
At the opening of the scientific event, the director of the Institute congratulated on the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also spoke about the activities of the outstanding Kazakh scientist Salyk Zimanov in the conditions of the country's sovereignty, about his contribution to the formation of the legal framework of the state and the development of the legal sphere.
Graduates of the Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov, heads of state bodies, representatives of the scientific community of the near and far abroad made a welcoming speech.
