On November 9, 2023 on the platform of the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP RK in online mode held a regular meeting of the Expert Council.
The agenda of the meeting included discussion of problematic issues of rulemaking and improvement of legislation. Members of the Expert Council shared their vision and assessment of such aspects of rule-making, as a balance of levels of legal regulation, increasing the degree of scientific validity of legislative work, including through the involvement of specialists - scientific teams and individual experts - in the development of draft laws, as well as the introduction of new forms of public participation, experts, stakeholders in the development, examination and discussion of draft laws and other normative legal acts.
The Expert Council at the Institute of Parliamentarism was established in April 2023. The main tasks of this advisory and consultative body are to provide advisory assistance to improve the efficiency of lawmaking, to prepare opinions on draft laws developed by the Institute of Parliamentarism on the initiative of members of Parliament, as well as proposals to improve legislation. The Expert Council consists of reputable Kazakhstani legal scholars, experts in various fields of law.
