On November 20, 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP RK, NPP "Atameken" and the Commissioner for Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights of Kazakhstan.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kanatbek Safinov, Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP RK, Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Presidium of NPP "Atameken", Rustam Zhursunov, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of signing the memorandum is to provide mutual support and active cooperation for the implementation of joint actions aimed at improving the competitiveness of domestic entrepreneurship and creating favorable legal, economic and social conditions for the implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as business protection.
The parties agreed to organize systematic cooperation on the issues of legislative support for the development of entrepreneurship and protection of business interests.
The Memorandum envisages such formats of cooperation as elaboration of proposals to improve the current legislation; holding meetings and consultations on the development and protection of entrepreneurship, identification of systemic problems and barriers to business development and improvement of the business climate, presentation of comprehensive measures to address them.
In his speech, the Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism Kanatbek Safinov emphasized that the mission of the Institute is to help the deputies of the Parliament in the implementation of their legislative initiative, improving the rule-making process and, ultimately, the professionalization of writing laws.
The leadership of the Institute of Parliamentarism, NPP "Atameken" and the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights of Kazakhstan also agreed to exchange information related to the problems of entrepreneurship development, including analytical and reference materials. Specific practical steps to implement the memorandum will be set out in a roadmap.
