The presentation of the collection of analytical materials "Qazaqstan: on the way to a model of sustainable development" took place in Astana. The authors of publications on key areas of socio-economic development of the country were the participants of the project "School of Analytics" together with members of the Club of Young Experts under the Senate of the Parliament.

The event was attended by executive directors of the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP RK Dauren Adilbekov and Zhanar Tulindinova.

As noted by the Speaker of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev, after last year's presidential elections, a comprehensive reset of the political system was carried out. The process of transition to a more democratic and sustainable model of state structure has begun. Therefore, quality analytics is an important condition for maintaining the dynamic development of the country.

"To improve the efficiency of the system of state governance requires strengthening of the analytical component in the activities of state bodies. The President of our country Kasym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev pays great attention to this issue. During the second session of the National Kurultai, the Head of State noted that the effectiveness of public administration largely depends on the quality of analytical support", - said Maulen Ashimbayev, addressing the participants of the meeting.

In addition, the Chairman of the Chamber emphasized the high level of interaction between the Senate and the expert community in the framework of legislative activities. Members of the Club are members of working groups of the House Committees, participate in parliamentary hearings, the work of the Parliamentary Commission on monitoring of national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development and other.

It should be noted that since 2020 the Senate of the Parliament has been actively working on interaction with young experts. Every quarter, the Young Experts Club discusses topical issues and develops comprehensive recommendations together with specialized government agencies and participants of the project "School of Analytics". A total of 150 young specialists are involved in the work of the two platforms. All of them represent various sectors of the economy and the country's social and political life.
