On December 12, 2023, an international round table on "Improving the lawmaking process" was held.
The round table was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dania Espaeva, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Eskaraev, Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alma Mukanova, Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial System and Law Enforcement Bodies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Beknazarov, members of Parliament, representatives of state bodies, prominent Kazakhstani and foreign legal scholars. During the round table the participants of the event exchanged expert opinion on the issues of improving the tools of rule-making. The issues of authenticity of texts of normative-legal acts were also considered. The participants of the meeting discussed accessibility of the language of legislation, development and standardization of Kazakh legal terminology, as well as the role and potential of modern technologies in improving rule-making.
