A round table was held on the theme: "Legislation in the sphere of legal regulation of pasture use: problems and solutions". The event was organized by the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Parliamentarism.

With a welcoming speech opened the event Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agrarian Affairs, Nature Management and Rural Development Ali Bektaev. The event was attended by Vice Minister of Agriculture, Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, representatives of research institutes and universities. The experts discussed legal issues of pasture utilization and gave their proposals.

 Deputy Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism Liazzat Suleyman made a report on improvement of legislation in the field of pasture management and utilization.

 Actual issues concerning legal regulation of rational use and protection of pasture ecosystems in Kazakhstan were touched upon in her speech by a member of the Institute's expert pool, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Dr. of Law, Professor Lyazzat Erkinbaeva.
