Head of the Center for Financial and Corporate Legislation Marzhan Zhienbaeva took part in it within the framework of the development of the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Trade Activities".
The seminar featured a presentation of the National Trade Facilitation Report of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and discussed measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, international projects, and other initiatives such as paperless trade, paperless cross-border trade and sustainable trade.
The event was attended by Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Balykbayev, European Union Ambassador to Kazakhstan Kestutis Jankauskas, USAID Program Manager in Kazakhstan Stephen Orr, as well as representatives of government agencies, NPP "Atameken", "KAZLOGISTICS" and others.
During the seminar, interested experts and government agencies were invited to cooperate with the Institute to ensure a comprehensive discussion of the draft law being developed
