Deputy Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP RK Berik Bekzhanov took part in the discussion of the theses of the interview of the Head of State to the newspaper Egemen Qazaqstan.

On January 8, 2024 in Astana was held an expert discussion in the format of round table "Fair Kazakhstan in the XXI century: new achievements and prospects for development", dedicated to the interview of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to the newspaper "Egemen Qazaqstan" on January 3, 2024.

The organizers of the event were: Institute of State History of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Astana.

 A welcoming speech was made by the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtaza Samat Ruslanovich. The reports were made by the director of the Institute of State History, PhD Pusyrmanov Nurbek Serikuly, acting director of the Scientific Institute for the Study of Ulus Dzhuchi Sabitov Zhaksylyk Muratovich.

The discussions were attended by employees of domestic analytical structures, such as KISI under the President of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Institute of Public Development, Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies, Institute of Eurasian Integration, Institute of Parliamentarism, as well as representatives of civil society.

In their theses, the experts noted that the main messages from the interview of the Head of State are relevant among the population and fully reflect the current modernization agenda.

The Round Table also included the presentation of the collective monograph "The Shibanid (Sheibanid) Dynasty in the History of the Kazakh Khanate (Siberia, Desht-i Kipchak, Mawrennahr)", prepared by the research group as part of the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Ulus Juchi.

The monograph includes new works on the subject, archival documents, maps and illustrations, identified in the framework of the project and previously unused in historical science.

The event was attended by members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, public and government officials, employees of scientific and analytical organizations, representatives of civil society, scientists of universities and research institutes, as well as representatives of the media.
