On May 22, 2024, a working meeting was held at the Institute of Parliamentarism at the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan on topical issues of legal regulation of family entrepreneurship.

At the initiative of Senator Aigul Kapbarova, amendments to legislation on the development of family entrepreneurship are being initiated. The bill is aimed at supporting family businesses and stimulating entrepreneurship in general.

At the working meeting, an exchange of views took place on the development of family entrepreneurship in our country. The event was attended by representatives of government bodies, leading higher educational institutions of the country, as well as experts from the Association of Family Businesses of Kazakhstan and the Center of Expertise of the Institute of Economic Research and others.

The working meeting was chaired by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Suleimen Lyazzat Zhanylyskyzy.

Today, the Institute of Parliamentarism is studying the issue of conceptual proposals for the current legislation. After an exchange of views, the meeting participants came to the conclusion that the legal regulation of family business is very important from the point of view of protecting the rights and interests of its participants, stability and legal clarity in relationships within the family business.

As a result of the working meeting, it was decided to continue a detailed study of this topic and discuss the provisions of the draft Law with government agencies.
