On June 3-4, the training "Improving the quality of legal expertise through the prism of gender: from theory to practice" was held. The seminar was organized by the UNDP and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Zhanar Tulindinova, Executive Director for Ensuring the Institute of Parliamentarism at the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the training.

The coach was Marianna Muravyeva, Professor of Law at the University of Helsinki. The purpose of the training is to strengthen skills in applying the methodology of gender expertise of legislation at all levels. decision-making levels.

The seminar covered topics such as the legal framework for gender equality, gender mainstreaming and gender analysis, gender aspects of energy transition and digital transformation, gender expertise of legislation, as well as gender-sensitive legislation

Based on the results of the training, it is planned to form recommendations on the implementation of the principles of gender equality in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
