On June 5, 2024, an expert discussion took place within the framework of the development of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Soil Protection", initiated by deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of NCE "Atameken", the Union of Field Breeders of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Association of Sugar, Food and Processing Industry, the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U.U.Uspanov, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the Republica faction.
During the meeting, topical issues in the field of soil protection were discussed, namely the legal framework for the rational and careful use of soils, the preservation of their quality and fertile layer from degradation and other negative consequences. As a result, proposals will be formed and sent to the initiator deputy.
