Today, on August 29, on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the ceremonial opening of a new conference hall took place at the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The ceremony of cutting the red ribbon was conducted by the director of the Institute, Doctor of Law Kanatbek Safinov. The event was also attended by Deputy Directors Berik Bekzhanov and Lyazzat Suleimenov.

«Аccept my sincere congratulations on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan! The Constitution, updated through a national referendum, embodies not only a symbol of national unity, but also a powerful tool aimed at consolidating society in the process of implementing large-scale reforms. On this significant day, I am pleased to announce the grand opening of a new conference hall at our Institute of Parliamentarism. This hall will become a venue for scientific conferences and round tables where topical issues of legislation and draft laws will be discussed. We are creating conditions for the active involvement of the expert community in the lawmaking processes, which will certainly improve the quality of the laws adopted», Kanatbek Safinov said in his speech.

This year, the Institute of Parliamentarism organized 11 round tables on various topics of lawmaking. It is important to emphasize that such round tables play a key role in the process of discussing new draft laws, providing an opportunity for each participant to express their opinion.

Since the foundation of the Institute, 56 round tables have been held, which were attended by members of Parliament, public figures, scientists and representatives of various industries. During the last session, the Institute, together with the deputies of the Mazhilis, developed 21 draft laws, and also provided analytical support for 49 draft laws submitted to the Mazhilis.

In addition, an inventory of legislative acts regulating the sphere of enforcement proceedings in the country was carried out, and an analysis of current legislation in 21 areas was carried out.

The Institute also prepared and sent 53 expert opinions to the relevant committees of the Mazhilis, which were demanded by deputies and actively used in the process of working on draft laws in working groups.
