On March 3, a round table was held at the office of the “Ak Zhol” party, organized by the Institute of Parliamentarism under the chairmanship of Mazhilis deputy and chairman of the “Ak Zhol” party, Azat Peruashev. The key topic of the meeting was the discussion of the upcoming amendments to the Law “On Industrial Policy”—the development of these amendments is provided for by the cooperation plan between the Mazhilis of Parliament and the Institute of Parliamentarism.
The discussion was attended by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, B.A. Bekzhanov, the head of the Center for Financial, Tax, and Customs Legislation, I.A. Sabirov, as well as representatives of government agencies, the business community, and industry associations. Azat Peruashev was the first to speak, followed by the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan, Erkanat Kazkenovich Makanov, the Chairman of the Board of the Industrial Development Fund, Rinat Eduardovich Gapparov, and I.A. Sabirov. Representing the Ministry of Industry and Construction, Director of the Department Laura Umitbekovna Sadykova also spoke at the event.
The round table participants paid great attention to the issues of further development and support of the industrial sector, emphasizing the need for enhanced legislative regulation. Representatives of regional branches of industry associations and organizations also joined the meeting online, including Anapa Makasheva, who provided additional recommendations and comments on improving the draft law.
