On June 30, the International Day of Parliamentarism, the Institute of Parliamentarism under the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a round table on "Constitutional economics as a condition for ensuring the socio-economic rights of citizens", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The participants discussed how the principles of constitutional economics contribute to the realization of citizens' rights to work, education, social protection and entrepreneurship. Special attention was paid to the role of state institutions, the relationship between economic policy and constitutional guarantees, as well as the improvement of legislation.

Presentations were made by Dauren Adilbekov, Executive Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, Viktor Malinovsky, Director of the Center for Constitutional Economics at Narkhoz University, Indira Aubakirova, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Professor at L.N. Eurasian National University. Gumilyova Ermek Abdrasulov, Chief Researcher at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Zhumagulov, analyst of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Ismagulov, Chief Inspector of the National Center for Human Rights Malik Karazhanov.
