



On August 26, an expert meeting "30 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: a strong state, a free society, a responsible citizen" was held, organized by the Presidential Center of the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Respublica political party.
The event was opened by Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Sydykov.
Natalia Pan, Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, became one of the key speakers. In her speech, she noted that over the past three decades, the Constitution of Kazakhstan has become a key element of the country's democratic development, has contributed to strengthening the rule of law and the formation of a stable political system.
Natalia Pan paid special attention to the constitutional reforms that have taken place over the years, which have significantly expanded the role of Parliament, strengthened parliamentary control and laid the foundations for the creation of the Constitutional Court, an important institution for the protection of citizens' rights.
In addition, in her report, she emphasized the growing importance of the concept of constitutional economy, which is based on a fair distribution of resources and ensures sustainable socio-economic development based on the provisions of the Basic Law.
The conference was also attended by employees of the Institute of Parliamentarism — Saimova Sh.A., Urtembayev A.K. and Irzhanov A.S. Chairman of the Respublica party, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Khojanazarov emphasized that for three decades the Constitution has served as a solid foundation for strengthening independence, preserving social harmony and building a democratic state.
In addition, presentations were made by Elmira Kaliyeva, Head of the Department for the preliminary study of appeals and legal support of the Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Constitutional Control in the Republic of Kazakhstan), Chairman of the NGO "Kazakhstan Union of Lawyers" SerikAkylbai (Zan zhane tartin – kazakstandyktardyn korgaudyn basty kagidaty retide"), Director of the Institute of Current Policy Sergey Konovalov ("Kazakhstan in the Global Rule of Law Index and its improvement within the framework of the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2029"), Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan Burkut Nurmagambetov ("Constitution – memlekettik ideologiyanyn negiziretinde"), Head of the Political Research Department of the KISI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanar Sankhayeva ("Political modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of constitutional reform").
