On December 19, Astana hosted the Eurasian Forum dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Parliamentarism. The anniversary event was held within the walls of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and brought together leading experts from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, Russia and Belarus.

The main topic of the discussion was the current challenges and prospects for the development of parliamentarism in the region — "Parliamentarism: the legal framework, the path of development and the vision of the future."

Within the framework of the forum, memorandums of cooperation were signed with leading universities of the country, which became another step in strengthening scientific and educational ties in the field of parliamentarism and law.

One of the key agreements was the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of Parliamentarism and the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov. The document was signed by Natalia Vissarionovna Pan, Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, and Nurlan Orynbasarovich Dulatbekov, Rector of the University.

The agreement is aimed at expanding joint research, academic collaboration, and the exchange of expertise in the field of lawmaking and legal culture.

In addition, within the framework of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute of Parliamentarism and the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Barimbek Beisenov. The document was signed by Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism Natalia Vissarionovna Pan and Deputy Head of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B. Beisenov, police Colonel Akhan Zhakypbekovich Nurushev.

The agreements have become a logical continuation of the course towards strengthening institutional partnership and creating a single scientific and expert space that unites the efforts of universities and government institutions in improving the country's legislation and legal policy.
