On December 24, the staff of the Institute of Parliamentarism, headed by Director Natalia Vissarionovna Pan, visited the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin (KazATU). During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was solemnly signed, designed to strengthen scientific, educational and expert cooperation between the two organizations.

In her welcoming speech, the Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism noted that KazATU named after S. Seifullin is a strategic partner and a leading scientific and educational center capable of making a significant contribution to the development of expert support for legislative initiatives and improving the quality of standard-setting activities.

Kanat Maratovich Tireuov, Rector of the University, presented a presentation on KazATU's achievements and strategic goals. He stressed that the university holds a strong position in prestigious international and national rankings.:

• QS World University Rankings – 1200th place;

• QS Asia University Rankings – 351st place;

• QS Central Asia University Rankings – 19th place;

• QS World Sustainability Rankings – 1051st place (in the field of "Environmental impact" — 535th place).

In addition, in 2023, KazATU participated for the first time in the QS Stars Ratings, according to the results of which it was awarded four stars — recognition of the high level of academic and scientific work of the university.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Natalia Pan, Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism, acting on the basis of the institution's Charter, and Kanat Tireuov, Chairman of the Board and Rector of KazATU, also acting on the basis of the University's Charter.

According to Natalia Pan, the signing of the document was a logical continuation of the existing cooperation and is aimed at its institutionalization.:

"We are consolidating the course towards systematic cooperation, combining the scientific, expert and practical potential of both sides. This will improve the quality of legislative decisions in the agricultural and environmental fields," said the Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism.

The signed Memorandum is aimed at developing and strengthening partnerships in the field of research, education, and expert analysis. The document provides for the implementation of joint projects, the exchange of experience, as well as improving the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of parliamentarism and agricultural education.

 The main purpose of the agreement is to develop expert cooperation aimed at improving the quality of preparation, analysis and discussion of draft laws of key importance for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
